The PTV Vision Asia-Pacific Users Group Meeting for 2011 was held on November 17th at University of Queensland Business School Downtown Conference Facility, Brisbane, Australia.
How to get there
All PTV Vision users, new and experienced, as well as academics, and other practitioners of traffic and transportation planning were invited. Not only they got to know the latest trends and developments but they also got an opportunity to share ideas and experiences.

PTV’s showcase applications of VISSIM and VISUM, and their application by experienced PTV Vision users from our region, formed the discussions.
The PTV Vision Users Group Meeting brought together transportation engineers, planners, researchers, trainers, and decision-makers shared the latest innovations in research and application of PTV Vision software. This event was opened to all PTV Vision users as well as those who was interested in the PTV Vision Suite.
The program allowed for presentations from the PTV development team on new features and research undertaken within the Vision suite, plus presentations from regional and local applications.
Recent presentations included applications of the PTV software in travel demand modelling, activity based behaviour, intersection optimisation and SCATS applications, transit and pedestrian simulation modelling, emissions modelling etc..
