►Who should attend?
All PTV Vision Users and those who are interested in the range of PTV Vision applications are invited to attend this informative and exciting event. PTV encourage attendance from transport and road authorities, researchers and practitioners as well as those wish to experience the PTV Vision suite.

Our focus is on innovative user applications and advanced projects undertaken by regional and international users. Furthermore there will be lots of exciting news and information provided by the PTV development team, including the following topics:

►Interesting PTV Vision applications
►Macroscopic, mesoscopic and     microscopic modelling
►Multi-modal transportation applications
►Public transport applications
►Planning and simulation ofmotorised     traffic and transport
►Demand forecasting
►Pedestrian simulation modelling

Social event
The User Group Meeting provides an excellent forum to network, meet others and make useful contacts in a relaxed atmosphere. A social dinner will occur on the evening of Thursday 19th November.  Entry will be included with attendance at the User Group Meeting.

Your contribution to the user group meeting

Your knowledge is important to us!

Are you interested in sharing your PTV VISION experiences? PTV encourage participation from users across the Asia-Pacific region to present at this year’s User Group Meeting. 

More information on submitting a presentation can be found at:

Our users make visions come true. That's why we would like to invite you to talk about your application at our practice-oriented meeting. We are looking for speakers and presentations from the following organisations:
►Transport &Road Authorities ►Research and education ►Engineering Consultancies
►Land-use planning ►Industry Bodies

 

You can use this opportunity to share your experiences with other participants. Presenters will be provided with free participation of the entire User Group Meeting. Presentations can be co-authored. However, note that free participation is only provided to the first author making the presentation.

 

Send an abstract of your contribution (no longer than 500 words) by Friday 21st August to visionUGM@ptvap.com marked with "Call for papers" in the subject line. Please use our word template which can be found at: www.ptvap.com/news/DocVorlage_Englisch.doc

The presentations should last around 30 minutes, allowing for a further ten minutes of question time.We look forward to receiving your abstracts.
PTV VISION Training
Why not combine the PTV Vision Asia-Pacific User Group Meeting with a training session to learn new skills or update your existing skills.  PTV shall be holding training sessions in Melbourne immediately prior to the event.  These are as follows:
 
►Comprehensive transportation modelling with VISUM                            (17th - 18th)
►Comprehensive VISSIM traffic and transit micro-simulation modelling  (17th - 18th)
►Vehicle Actuation Programming with VISSIM                                          (18th)
►Area Based Pedestrian and Passenger Modelling with VISSIM              (18th)

PTV Vision users and those who wish to explore the PTV Vision software suite are invited to attend these informative events. PTV shall provide licenses for all training courses
