PTV's Mobility business field field is concerned with software solutions supporting individual mobility management. The product range includes software and services for personalised travel information and travel planning such as route planners, hotel guides for Web and WAP or Location Based Services for traceable mobile devices.
The wide array of solutions ranges from web-based mapping and routing services, location-based and multi-media messaging services for mobile end devices, advanced systems for traffic information (Floating Car Data), offboard navigation, online rideshare matching and car dealer search to applications for telematics call centres.
All solutions are based on the modular and open PTV MobilityPlatform. Providers of innovative mobility services can therefore offer their customers tailor-made solutions built on a complete framework. Services can be easily accessed by using a variety of electronic channels such as Web, WAP, PDA or vehicle end devices.
Applications can also be hosted at PTV's data processing centre, if desired. In addition to the latest technology, mobility service providers benefit from PTV's partnerships with leading content providers (VartaGuide, Falk New Media, ADAC) as well as from PTV's profound expertise in hosting services and its many years of experience in the traffic and mobility field.
